Henry Hailong Jia is a Ph.D. student of the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University. His primary interests include Chinese labor law, the dynamics between trade, investment and labor, international labor standards, HR management and labor relations in Chinese multinationals operating in other countries, HR management and labor relations in non-Chinese multinationals operating in Chinese. Jia is also a professor at the Law School of South China University of Technology. He holds a Doctor of Law degree from Tsinghua University. He is also a JSD candidate at University of Illinois College of Law. He has published extensively on trade law concerning the relationship between trade liberalization and non-trade issues in prestigious Chinese and international journals. He is also the PI of a number of research projects funded by Chinese National Social Science Foundations, Chinese Ministry of Education, and provincial social science foundations.
