Bio

Meina Cai is assistant professor of political science at the University of Connecticut. Her research interests lie in the political economy of transition and emerging economies. Her current research focuses on land property rights and their impact on rural governance and development in China. She received her Ph.D. in political science and M.Sc in agricultural and applied economics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
