Abstract
Individuals face numerous challenges in their daily lives. Mindfulness is a state of awareness in which individuals actively pay attention to the present moment while maintaining a nonjudgmental response to their observations. Research has shown that mindfulness can be a powerful tool to assist us in facing daily challenges and achieving our potential. In this talk, I use 10 empirical studies to demonstrate the effects of mindfulness on self-fulfillment in children, adolescents, adults, and older adults from a life-course perspective.
