The Center for Global Work & Employment explores the consequences of increased transnational competition for labor markets, employment relations and workplace conflicts around the world. In tracking the changing governance of work, it engages with strategic responses by businesses, workers and public authorities.
China Office
The Rutgers Global–China Office was established to shape the direction of high-quality education, research, and service engagements with and about China. Every year the office offers scholarships to international students who wish to study in China, supports long-standing partnerships with Chinese universities, and offers short term specialized programs for international students and English-language teachers.
Huamin Research Center
The Huamin Research Center was established in 2012 through collaboration between the Huamin Charity Foundation and Rutgers University, and is based out of Rutgers School of Social Work. The Center’s mission is to develop and disseminate knowledge through research and exchange that promotes professional development of nonprofit organizations and strengthens individual, family, and community well-being in China.
Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research (IFH)
The Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research (IFH) facilitates collaboration among the social and behavioral sciences, clinical disciplines, basic sciences and related fields to promote research on critical population health issues. Its many initiatives include Chinese Health, Aging, and Policy Program (PINE), Asian Resource Center for Minority Aging Research (RCMAR), and Center for Asian Health.
Rutgers Global Asias
Rutgers Global Asias is a faculty collaborative for cross-disciplinary and trans-regional scholarship on Asia and its diasporas.
Sungkyun Institute for Confucian Studies and East Asian Philosophy
The Sungkyun Institute for Confucian Studies and East Asian Philosophy (成均儒學東洋哲學研究院 SICEAP) is dedicated to advancing global understanding and appreciation of traditional expressions and the future potential of the Confucian tradition as well as East Asian and Comparative Philosophy more generally. It hosts a range of local, regional, and international talks, workshops, and conferences that feature and promote cutting-edge research aimed at fulfilling its primary mission.
