Andrew Greve is a Ph.D. candidate in the Political Science Department at Rutgers University. His research interests include power transition theory, status in International Relations, international political economy, US foreign policy in East Asia, US-Taiwan-China relations, and historical East Asian international relations. His dissertation examines the role of China's status demands in the peaceful development of East Asian order. He is co-author of “Power Transitions, Status Dissatisfaction, and War: The Sino-Japanese War of 1894–1895,” in Security Studies. He is a graduate of the Institute of China and Asia-Pacific Studies at National Sun Yat-sen University, Kaohsiung.
