The Eighth New Frontiers in the Study of Medieval China Workshop: Lives and Afterlives of Inscriptions. 

This eighth meeting will focus on commemorative inscriptions produced in Middle Period China. Continuing the emphasis in recent workshops on exploring the interrelationship of textuality and materiality, participants will discuss authorship, circulation, and the afterlives of inscriptions.

Davis (Brigham Young University), Alexei Ditter (Reed College), Michael Höckelmann (FAU-Erlangen-Nürnberg), Yang LU (Peking University), Amy McNair (University of Kansas), Oliver Moore (University of Groningen), Jeffrey Moser (Brown University), Scott Pearce (Western Washington University), Gil Raz (Dartmouth College), Anna Shields (Princeton University), Nicholas Morrow Williams (Arizona State University), Man XU (Tufts University), Fan ZHANG (Tulane University).
